Sometimes I think it would be fun to live on a canal boat – but I hoard way too much junk for living in such a small space 🙂

Even the roof is used for storing stuff! A very unique interpretation of Thursday Doors!!

We almost chose to live on a boat. It was very tempting, but a small house we could afford came on the market and we opted to that. We did buy a small river cruiser, though, and love spending weekends on it, so, you can see why I love your choice of doors this week. Great photos.

Wow, sounds great to actually own a boat – enjoy! 🙂

Thanks, Ruth. We bought it coming into Winter last year, so haven’t spent much time out on the water. It’s our first boat so we have a lot to learn, but it’ll be fun. 🙂

Those doors have so much character! We once had a tiny sailboat, got stuck on a sandbar one night at low tide in the mosquito-infested summer on Naples (Florida) Bay. I was thankful for a door in that moment! 🙂

Great doors. I’ve seen canal boats on te Erie Canal in New York, very similar.
