Weekly Photo Challenge: Opposites

Opposites: Inside/ outside

The church of St Dunstan-in-the-East in London was bombed out during WWII, and is now a hidden gem of a public garden only 5 minutes’ walk from the Tower of London. The roof-less stone walls and window arches, where inside and outside combine seamlessly to create a beautiful backdrop for trees, climbing plants and benches, is enjoyed daily by local office workers who spend their lunchtimes in a relative oasis of calm, seemingly miles away from the never-ending hustle and bustle of London life going on around them… 🙂
