I found plenty of new ‘which ways’ yesterday, exploring yet another part of London I’ve never been to before… This is the underground bit of Maida Vale Underground Station on the Bakerloo Line 🙂

Another memory of the underground, although I must admit was never in Maida Vale tube station. Was more into Bethnal Green and Mile End.

It was a bit of a culture shock, I can tell you – how the other half live! Maida Vale is obviously far more affluent than the East End, even with all our recent regeneration and gentrification. It was fun to visit, though 🙂

If I may say it, visiting Bethal Green is like visiting a different country. Even the street names are in three languages, which I cannot decifer.

I suppose everything has to change with the times… I suppose it always has done… 🙂

Stunning entry……. did you know that there was a time when you couldn’t take photographs on the underground? I only discovered a couple of months ago!

No flash and no tripods can be used, but images taken for personal use only (not commerical) is perfectly OK – just don’t bother anyone or get in the way and it is fine 🙂

Ah I’ll let my hubby know as he was convinced it is all photography!
