Sunday Signs: Brighton Beach

The sea air does tend to give you quite an appetite – but watch out for dive-bombing seagulls, they often seem to be rather determined to deprive you of your food! 🙂

Sunday Signs: Brighton Pier

It’s been ages since I’ve done a Sundays Signs post, and I know it’s Tuesday, but I don’t care – how radical of me!

I’ve got a few images of even more signs from our recent short break in Brighton to share, so I might be even more rebellious and post them all today – after all it’s my blog, so I guess I can bend my own rules if I want to!  🙂

Daily Prompt: Radical

Sunday Signs: The George

The-George1The-George2

Perhaps not the most exciting of Sunday Signs posts for this week, especially as it’s Monday again before I’ve got round to writing it, but The George is actually the pub where I work. It was originally built in 1904, and the exterior hasn’t changed much over the last century although it’s had several changes of hands and internal refits along the way.

I guess in many ways it’s a typical traditional British Public House, serving a varied selection of real ales that are still hand-pumped up from the cellar in the traditional way as well as all the more modern lagers and bottled craft beers, ciders, wines, spirits and all other alcoholic beverages. And nowadays of course there is always a variety of soft drinks and hot drinks on the menu along with the usual pub food 🙂
